‘The Exorcist’ Book Cover (2017)

In 2017, I was tasked with designing a book cover for William Peter Blatty’s novel titled The Exorcist. Using a grayscale color palette, the front and back of the cover separate black and white, good and evil. Incorporating the image of a cathedral, the imagery drives the viewer to feel the tension of Christian good and evil and the demons, both literal and figurative, that hide in the shadows.
